Thought Process: I found that there was unnecessary repetition in taking off my ruck sack and digging through it to find my map, fire-starter, or other necessities. I found there was a much more practical solution to storing these items.
Through identifying the space a rucksack occupies, I was able to target specific areas on the body that I could place a secondary bag used to store essential items. The most ergonomic position turns out to be the upper leg because it is closest to hand while in motion and at rest.
Refined prototype and design.
